Pokemon Personalities?

    I'm sorry if this is the wrong section to ask, but I'll ask anyway.

    Does anyone know what Pokemon Personalities do? I understand that they affect your Pokemon's stats. (Not to be confused with Natures).

    You know, the bit in the Trainer's Memo that says "Loves to eat" or "Somewhat vain".

    If anyone could find out for me what the different personalities do for Pokemon stats, I'd be thrilled, since I'm training for the Battle Tower.

    each personality boosts max level of 1 stat by 10% and drops another by 10%, type pokemon nature guide into google it should give you a list
     
    Characteristics tell you what the MAXIMUM IV possible is across all your Pokes. So if you have a high possibility IV showing, then that characteristic that involves that STAT has the HIGHEST IV out of all your stats.

    well 31 is in the highest an IV to get to, unfortunately that doesnt divide well, so just get added on the end to two of the descriptions

    They represent the Individual values so lets say a Dratini with the personality "Likes to trash about" and as you can see from the table (link) it has different numbers ranging from
    1 6 11 16 21 26 31
    so Dratinis Attack IVs can be any of those numbers (Having 31 the highest IV which means it possibly can have max Attack points)

    To calculate IVs you need an IV calculator

    Make sure your Pokemon is at least LV 25 before punching in its stats (keep track of its EVs if possible)
