    Yes, it has already been confirmed on CoroCoro & Famitsu, for a September 2008 release for the DS. Though like you said, I find it pretty random that they jumped from Gems to Metals. More info will be out in June, as stated in the Magazine.
     
    I love it when people can't simply take the time to look for the other numerous threads like this beforehand.
