Im thinking of getting pokemon ranger, but i have no clue how to pick which one?

if anyone can awnser my questions thatd be great

What are all the different pokemon rangers(oldest to newest)?
Which one would you suggest and why?
I heard you could get manaphy and darkrai? is this true? is it still available and do u need wifi for either of them
what is some of the big feature differences in all of them
