[Discussion] Pokemon Reborn and Rejuvenation Resources

Hey everyone!
I recently introduced myself into the Reborn universe, and I was really impressed by the amount of detail that went into both the games.
I was browsing around the forums when someone said that people were allowed to use the grpahics from the games so long as they gave credit. Is that true? Is that the status quo for Reborn and Rejuvenation? I did think it was a little strange that the graphics folder was included along with the game.

If yes, then how much is too much? I think using resources from other games is kinda frowned upon? But again, quality Gen 3 resources are so hard to come by, and the really good ones are few and far between. I was impressed by Reborn's aesthetics, and was thinking if it would be okay to use them in my game?

while im not 100% sure i've seen stuff about reborn etc. allowing the use of their graphics, and by too much would be literally everything imo, or a vast majority. as long as you give credit and not just using it as "oh look thats from reborn" or smth i think its okay. as long as the creators allow it, and seemingly they do, and the graphics thing isnt that unusual, some games encrypt them, some dont to save time (or ease for people) cuz it means you can just go in and change a sprite or smth yourself.

so to summarize, i believe its okay as yourself said with credit, and dont use a majority of their stuff, which depends on what you specifically want from their (tiles, pokemon sprites, shinies etc.) hope i was any help.

Thanks for clearing it up! And yeah, I'm not using too much, I guess, just a few building tiles from the city tileset to add the retro vibe of Reborn City in my game.
