POKEMON: SHADOW CLAN

A Fire-Red Hack

Storyline:

The story is set in the Siryan region, with pokemon from the first three regions. The main character's family is in a group called the Shadow Clan, that they must join before getting their first pokemon. You start out as a basic grunt, and you must follow the orders of your superiors, do their quests. The Gyms are instead the superiors that you fight to climb the ranks of the organization.

As you scale the ranks, it will become clear that the organization has a clear evil goal - to conquer the various kingdoms of Siryan using the power of the legendary pokemon and introduce a strict totalitarian government. After you reach the top you will have to decide whether or not to do the right thing - overthrow the leader.




The hack is in it's very early stages - a good proportion of the maps are finished but there is a lack of scripting. My weak point is scripting, so I need to find a decent scripter that can help teach me and/or help out directly with scripting. There is also a pretty bad glitch that I need help fixing - at the end of the first cave the warp to the outside route freezes the game.


I'll get a few screenshots of the maps later - I also need help finding some good tilesets to use that are better than the usual fire-red ones.
