Pokemon Special/Adventure anime

The Anime should've followed the game's storyline instead of going off in a tangent (orange islands). Or the anime could've had a same character as the game did, but they HAD TO USE ASH. (facepalms)

Who sadly looks like Red somewhat...which is an insult to Red. Though Ash is okay, to a point. And they did somewhat follow the game, and I personally liked the Orange Island thing, though it existed only to buy the creators time to finish making the Johto Pokemon

A more mature pokemon with blood, death, and deeper storylines, personalities, and background stories, plus shipping wouldn't be as intense, I'd like that.

Red is NOTHING like Ash. He's ten times smarter than Ash will ever be. And he MATURES too, in the later sagas which is a big plus.

A lot of people who don't watch the show say that the Orange Islands was a good season. Satoshi is based off of the game character's design.

How is an insult to anyone? Also, they do follow the game's plot because its plot is to collect all 8 badges and compete in the Pokémon League.

This is what I don't get now. Why do complain about the show if it's for kids? If you don't like it then don't pay attention to it. There's no reason to complain if you have a choice. Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to say something sucks in your opinion or that you don't like the show if you actually do like it. I'm saying it to people who do this on a constant basis.

The show is big in Japan. Sure it has lower ratings than it did when it was in its fad days, but it gets in to Top 10 charts constantly, maybe not all of the time but most of it. The fact is, that you people who grew up knowing what PokéSpecial was in America, are not the people growing up with the animé now. I bet that most kids right now in outside of Japan or maybe even in Japan right now, don't know anything about PokéSpecial. By the time they do discover it though, they'll be out of the demographic and a generation of kids will be watching the show. So I say to just go with what you have now because things will stay the same in the most likely scenario.

Actually, he has. You have to use logic- I mean, he's been through 4 regions(not coutning Orange Islands and Battle Frontier), so surely in that time he ages. And just because we dont see any of his birthdays doesnt mean he hasnt grown older.
