I absolutely loved the TCG on the GBC, I played it so much that I actually broke the cartridge

Is there any rumours or news on an updated TCG for the DS or something?

None that I know of. Just keep checking Serebii. But this should be in the spin offs section, however there's no rumors or anything about a TCG game, so I don't see this discussion really going anywhere.
