I'm trying to make a Sun Team in the 4th Generation i only have Soul Silver but i'm getting Platinum soon and Battle Revolution to play with my Friends, so i wanna make a sun team for it but i have no ideas of what to use or where to start, if anyone has any suggestions i can use all the help i can get!

I'm also looking into creating different teams as well!, i also wanna go through and Beat Revolution's Coliseums so i'm also looking for another team but more diverse type coverage, so any awesome Pokemon that can plow through them all will be ideal!

I'm not sure which Pokémon are currently available to you to form part of your line up, but I would suggest having Typhlosion and Vileplume as a central part of your sun team. I believe they both have access to Sunny Day and Solar Beam which makes for a deadly combination. Vileplume benefits further by having shocking speed in sunshine with Chlorophyll. In addition, having Espeon to set up Reflect and Light Screen (as well as empowered Morning Sun during sunlight) could be useful.

Having Magcargo present could be good too. Sunshine reduces its 4x weakness to water to 2x and having access to STAB Rock moves is always handy. In anticipation of Ground damage, you could add Jumpluff (which enjoys a similar setup to Vileplume with the added benefit of Flying type) or Claydol, which is an incredibly versatile and tanky Pokémon with Levitate. It is capable of another round of Sunny Day and Psychic coverage.

Sun teams are easy to chop up and change. Perhaps a Special Attacking Charizard could play Typhlosion's role better. Try whatever you prefer.
