Do you think it's wise to just mix a Pidgey and a Growlithe and suddenly base the whole game about it? Cross-breed Pokémon never do well in hacks because they're uncreative, and also because they usually end up sucking.

Then change the name to something like Griffor (Something like that) and not base the thing on pidgey and growlithe, what am I talking about? Here's what you said "ok it a new pokemon a made up its a pidgey cross grolithe and its the rarest pokemon in the Neclokhkhcock region."

A Pidgey plus a Growlithe does not make a Gryphon. I believe a Griffin/Gryphon (I'm not sure if we're even talking about the same magical creature here) is part eagle part lion.
