Pokemon : the legend of the 4 guardians

Hey , so I am DaiTyrant , a guy who's insane with hacking yet knows so little about it . I have found this site invaluable for my hacked games needs and i decided to give it a try . I am a fan of Japanese culture so i wanna build a game themed that way . I'm gonna try and work all the areas of the hack myself till I give up cuz I'm not experienced or meet a problem I can't solve . For now , I need a guy to help me with the sprites . Anyway , on to the hack :


You start out in Hajimari town ( lame name I know, I'll work on the names later ) in the Mugen region . As you walk out your house one day a strange person approaches you and asks you which element out of four you like the most ( fire/wind , water\ice , thunder , ground\rock ) which is keyed to a specific legendary beast in Japanese and Chinese History ( fire is the phoenix Suzaku , Water is the dragon Sairyu , Thunder is the tiger Byako and ground is the turtle Genbu ) . After you choose , he gives the rest to 3 other kids from your hometown and tells you to prevent the villainous team ( stil searching for a name ) to awaken the legendary beings that could destroy our world. I'll work on more stuff since this is just a very small scrap I've come up with but I believe it has potential . For now , I need a spriter in the least and a mapper .

P.S : I know the way I presented it sucks but I'm new so cut me some slack .

I like the way you get your first Pokémon, it is rather different to the norm. Though I would say that instead of sending them off right away to defeat the evil Team, the person should first convince them to go on their Pokémon Gym journey, and then later on convince them into helping against these bad guys, it would make alittle more sense.

Well , I won't send them off against the team immideately . I'll have them be given a mystery by the guy who gives the pokemon ( who will have the 5th guardian which is either Kohryu or Kirin ) where they're gonna have something similar to Gym battles ( Shrine battles to obtain rare pokemon or something ) and they'll eventually find out about the team . Also , in the final story battle I'll have the 4 trainers team up so it will be a battle with your own pokemon and then 3 battles with a team and inventory you know nothing about .
