Pokemon: The Trainer's Cup

The Trainer's Cup is a story I've been working on for a while and I would love to create a Fan Game based on it. I am an avid Fan Game player, but I've never developed a fan game myself. I have some programming experience in C and C#.

The Valoray Region:

Based loosely on the D1 Big 10 Conference. The region is known for its unique tournaments. Becoming a professional Pokemon trainer here is an accomplishment and you have to qualify for the title of being a Professional Pokemon Trainer.

Game Story

The Valoray Region is a region that is unique due to not having a gym system or an Elite Four. The Valoray region hosts a yearly Pokemon Battle competition where all trainers in the region are competing to qualify for the prestigious Trainer's Cup. All registered Pokemon trainers are welcome to compete in the Battle Competition, but only the top 64 trainers will qualify for The Trainer's Cup tournament. This year, the Valoray region has a promising Rookie Class that some are predicting that there may actually be a rookie trainer that could potentially qualify for the cup.

I am not looking for this game to be an intense challenge, I'm just looking to tell a fun and intriguing story.
