A twelve year old Jake (not my name, just one i thougt up) is finally old enough to receive his first Pokemon along with his two best friends, Cheren and Bianca.
Chapter 1:Time To Choose!

Jake awoke to a bright ray of light that shone through his window panes. He turned to see his alarm clock that showed that it was only 7:00 a.m.
"Wow, I'm up early", Jake thought tiredly.
He and his friends had promised Professor Juniper that they would visit her lab at the outskirts of Nuvema town at 12:30 p.m.
"Well, after twelve years of waiting, I'm finally ready to get my first pokemon!" Jake stated exitedly.
After three hours of reading about the three custom Unovan Starter Pokemon Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, Cheren showed up at his house.
"Are you ready?" Cheren asked.
"I guess," Jake answered,unsurely.
"It looks like something's bothering you."
"It's just that I read about all three starters but I'm not sure which one I'll pick." Jake said.
"We should head to Bianca's house to see if she's ready to go" Cheren Said
"Ok."
After a couple of minutes, the two boys arrived at Bianca's house to see Bianca and her father arguing.
"You're not ready to leave home!" Bianca's dad yelled.
"But I'm old enough and my friends are!" Bianca shouted back.
"NO! You're not leaving!!! Maybe next year..." Her father drifted off.
"GRR" Bianca growled as she stormed out the door.
"Oh! Were you two around that whole time?" She asked Nervously.
"Well, Umm...." Jake and Cheren Said at the same time sheepishly.
"It doesn't matter, lets go get our Pokemon." She answered.
About thirty minutes later, the trio arrived at Professor Juniper's lab.
"Hello children." Professor Juniper said happily, then added "Are you three ready?"
"Yes" The three children answered simutaniously.
"Jake, you can chose first," Bianca and Cheren said aalmost at the same time.
"OK, I guess..." Jake said nervously.
