What is the games timeline?

FR/LG 1st then I think R/S..

Wait, can you restate the question, I don't understand. Unless your asking if the FR/LG timline is before R/S, then the answer is no, one way to find this out is by noticing that there is no Pokemon Trading Time Machine.......I don't know about you, but when that time machine idea thing came out in G/S/C, I thought it was a horrible idea to ever put that in the game, but thats only my opinion.

And in case your wondering. The Pokemon are always there at the same time just at differnt Regoins(cant spell).
I cant be bothered to do games other than game boy ones

I'm not entirely sure, but I think everything happens at the same time. FR/LG, G/S/C, R/S/E, Collesseum, and D/P all happen at the same time. But XD happens five years later.

But what about Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow? If we assume that they happen at the same time (or they are the same in themselves) as FireRed and LeafGreen, then Gold, Sliver, and Crystal would have to take place after FireRed and LeafGreen due to the three-year gap.

Fire Red and Leaf Green are remakes of Red and Blue. And, three year gap? How could G/S/C trade with R/B/Y?

Im kinda making some stuff up, but it puts all the games in perspective.

R/B/Y/FR Red becomes a pokemon master and defeats Green and catches Mewtwo, Green goes back to Pallet Town to start again, Red goes to Jhoto and trains

LG, Blue beats Green and becomes pokemon master she isant seen as far as we know.

Ruby There is a special machine in FR/LG which can link up to Lannets PC and trade meaning they happen around the same time May defeats Team Magma, the poke' league becomes master and catches the Goudon, Brenden decides to start again and gets a pokemon of his Dad Proffeser Burch.

Sapphire, Brenden defeats Aqua and catches Kyogre and becomes master. May trains some new pokemon (she is the rival)

Colo, 1st intro of shadow pokemon, more 2nd gen are discorvered

Emerald, jhoto pokemon are seen in the Hoenn region battle frontier is made.

XD:and new generation of pokemon is discorvered only 2 of them, Micheal defeats the shadow pokemon.

Diamond, the hero saves the legends from Team Galactic and catches Dialga,

Pearl, same events happen with the Heroine the previous master tarins some more pokemon like may.

G/S The characters finnaly beat Team Rocket and lance becomes champ until defeated, the hero and heroine beat Red, Blue and Green.
