Pokemon: War of Dreams

Pokemon: ________(name coming after the project begins)

Story: This is just an idea so bear with me.

The region of _______ is being taken over by _____(insert evil group here). The people are not allowing this to happen so easily but they are slowly losing control of ______(region).
ok so..........

You are playing nintendo wii at home with ______(rival) when your mom runs upstairs and tells you get your bag and whatever you need because _____(evil group) is in the town. You and your rival make your way outside and they are terrorizing the town. You try to help but fail because you don't have a pokemon. You are forced out of your town and feel like its your fault. You and your rival use the money you have to buy 2 pokeballs and set out 2 catch your 1st pokemon. I'll get more in depth when i get a firmer idea.

Features:

Some pokemon from every region
maybe a few fakemon
new pokedex order until national dex
new maps
new story
new movesets

ect.
i'll try to think of more but i can't script(learning) and do alot of other things so i will need help/support(but who wants 2 help on a non developed idea soz......)

plz give suggestions :nervous:
UPDATE: March 27
Instead of making up a whole bunch of characters im going to use a few people that showed up in the pokemon T.V. show along with a few new faces.

Scratch the last idea. I have thought of something and some of m friends say its kinda better than the 1st idea. so...
Story:

You are son/daughter of the famous officer jenny from Aquport city. One day your mother goes missing investigating A strange disturbance in cave(______). When u realize that your mother never came home you make your way to the cave only to be stopped by a mysterious group of 4. There is no way of getting in by yourself so you make your way back to Aquport city until you hear a noise in a nearby tree. You investigate and find a Aipom. He immediately takes a liking to you and this begins your journey to find out the truth about your mothers disappearance.

I know very shaky but I thinks its better than what I had. Tips plz

A: Read this thread that i created it'll help with regards to your very generic storyline https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/164853
B: Learn to script, everyone here are working on there own games and don't have time to help you.
C: Please work on your title, it's bad, real bad.
D: Don't post a story until you can type more than one paragraph, it's just lazy to type just one, and doesn't let us know much about your game.

Okay, let me try to fill in some the blanks:

The region of South Korea is being taken over by North Korea.The people are not allowing this to happen so easily but they are slowly losing control of South Korea.

Reads rather differently, doesn't it? Put it into a different context and the conflict seems a little bigger. I think this is a more interesting alternative to people of a region vs. a group of generic villains. That alternative is

WAR

How about this: Region A is attacking Region B. Region A is trying to defend itself. The character is recruited into the army and given his first Pokemon. (Pokemon are lethal tools of war, you know.) After a period of training he is sent out into the battlefield where a world of adventure and bloodshed awaits him.

Who ever said it was going to be? O-o but also... it's a whole wolrd out there, it can't all be based off Japan ;) Think about this.. I used to think the same as you, then i realised, i was really doing was narrowing down my field of creativity D=

if you look at the pokemon world as seen from space there's pretty much one huge continent shaped like japan. it was in one of the movies. it doesn't make sense to flesh out the entire planet like earth, since there's not enough room.

Thank you for directing me to this page. Very helpful, i will try to give a story update as soon as possible. I agree i should learn to script but most successful hacks aren't done by just one person.

Hmm.. i like it but i was unsure that it would work well if it was based on a real event.

but honestly i think making a name is easier with a developed story.(suggestions plz)
