    Okay i have pokerus on my emerald version and all my pokemon have it, but what is pokerus? Also i think i got it buy trading some johto and kanto pokemon that werent in the pokedex over from my Leafgreen version before i had the national dex. So i have like 2 boxes full of pokemon that arent in the pokedex, but when i get the national dex will it be updated?

    Pokerus is a rare but awesome disease. Think of it like being a disease that when you get it all you get benefits. It comes randomly, so there is really no reason you got it.
