4th Gen pokerus only raises defense

well every time i made a pokemon level up when it has pokerus, when it finally takes effect it raises the defense up like 21 points. does the pokerus only work with defense or am i missing something?

The Pokerus is supposed to increase the amount of EV points you get if I'm correct. So what's happening here, is I believe you're simply battling Pokemon that give Defense EV Points. You should try fighting Pokemon that give EV points of the stat you want. I'd go to serebii.net and find the Pokemon that give the EV points you're looking for. :)
