2nd Gen pokerus?

    Okay, what exactly is pokerus? My pokemon had it before on my Crystal verson, what is it? I know it's a good thing and that it alows the pokemon the level up faster, but how did they catch it? I just found it really strange. it also bugged up the part when you can withdraw pokemon from the computer, the only way I could possibly withdraw them was if I played it on my N64? why was this?

    Sorry for so many question btw lol
     
    that,happens in the game duh but you have to very happy that you pokemon has pokerus.rigth
