^You have your shade option all the way dark, though. It just looks like it.

I checked on all three of mine, and they all say, "Connecting."
I turned them to the side, though, and they looked like they said, "Conneoting." It's all a matter of how dark its set to, the angle, which side you're looking at, and how good your eyes are.

I never use the Pokewalker anyway. It's not the first mistake, anyway. Have any of you noticed the one where you throw a Pokeball at a Pokemon and when it escapes it says underneath 'Aww it appeared to be caught!'?
