4th Gen pokewalker question (please answer)

does a japanese pokewalker work with the english ver. of HG/SS and the english pokewalker with the japanese ver. games.
appreciate if someone could try this and confirm a yes or a no as there are no answers i can find.
if it does work couldd someone post a youtube vid thanks

No it doesn't work. At least im 99% sure it doesn't.
