is it possible to get pokemon to max friendship(evolve) without battling AT ALL?

if you walk about loads with a soothe bell then yes it is
but that takes forever :P

Walking about 56000 steps will provide enough happiness for any Pokémon to evolve, but while that is hardly practical, most of the activities listed here are. =)

im trying to ev hp on a happiny lvl 1 UT, and I guessed it would gain more hp as a blissey so if I could get blissey lvl 1 before I do it.
Other questions:
what are the best pokemon to battle if training hp ?
Also the hp boost items, do they give more hp at a higher lvl(should I wait till lvl 100 until I use them?)
edit: also where do I get a power wight o.o

When HGSS come out, you can put the pokemon in the Pokewalker, but let's not dwell on that just yet.

Oh, no, there's no difference.

Pokemon stats are not based upon growths. Identical Pokemon will always have identical stats at level 100.

The HP vitamins give EVs to HP, which will come into full effect at level 100. However, you need to level up for these to take effect, so use them ASAP.

Battling is quicker, but walking and feeding PokeBlocks/Poffins is slower.

I evolved my Eevee into Espeon without it battling; I had it in the day care for breeding, and I removed it at Lv.36, then feed it two Calciums, and it had full happiness.

Man, I learned that even if the pokémon is with full happines, it must level up to evolve. At least one level, just like a feebas. So the lowest level for your blissey should be 3.

But if you ppl say it's possible without leveling-up, it must be, then.

I'm pretty sure ^ is right about that. To evolve Happiny into Chansey you'll need to level it up while holding a oval stone during the day time. After that you'll then have to raise its happiness and level it up one more time. So at the lowest you can have a Blissey on level 3.

To make sure 3 is the lowest level for your then Chansey to evolve you'll need to feed it lots of stat enhancers and poffins. Also walking around with it in the front of your party will help raise its happiness along with bringing it to the spa in the Resort Area.
