Sadly, I'm note educated enough in Magic to make or post a deck. Nonethe less, this topic is for those people who play Magic and would like there deck to be rated. Kenny or KLS, when they get here, would be the perfect players to get this topic moving.

sadly, there aren't nearly as much as magic players in here as there are for YGO

    Okay. Trivial mono-black tryout:

    land
    4 blinkmoth nexus
    1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
    19 swamp

    creatures
    4 Kokusho, Evening star
    4 solemn simulacrum
    3 horobi, death's wail

    other Spells:
    4 Phyrexian arena
    4 barter in blood
    4 chrome mox
    3 wayfarer's bauble
    2 consum spirit
    2 guardian idol
    3 distress
    3 persecute

Mono black at its finest...well sorta except this feels WAYYY too generic (though powerful). any suggestions to deviate from this set while maintaining power?

Haha, Kokusho, so original, but a deck based around him, i thought it was rock or tooth and nail, but this seems fun, let's try this out. (in Cali, i've seen lots of people use T/N in their rock deck). (they ue tooth and nail twice and the game's over.)
you've got mana accelaration for Kokusho,
but the only control you have is hand control,
and your creatrues are to much to cast, but all the same this deck is creative and it might work.
the thing with mono black is if your going to run mono black, you definately need Cranial Extraction, and there isn't enough board control for mono-black, unless you sacrifice more than what your suppose to.
but M.B.C. is quite popular, M.B.C w/ Kokusho might be a new one.

I didn't make a SB yet, and I do plan on at elast SBing the cranial extractions. However, the problem might be the lack of acceleration (i.e. only mox, bauble, and guardian). Persecute is pretty good, but it seems almost completely worthless against affinity (thus I think I would opt to put them into the SB). Hmmmm....

    S.P or (Sacrificial Ponza)
    version 1
a ponza; only the point of this deck is to sacrifice artifacts to dish out burns (hence Sharpnel Blast) or pump up a creature (Atog) or if in need sacrifice for mana (Krark Clan Stoker).
Rough Draft Numero Uno (Kenz, i think with your help, this deck could prove to be successful, but i need your thoughts on this)

    4x Chrome Mox
    4x Lightning Greaves
    4x Ornithropter
    4x Atog
    4x Sharpnel Blasst
    4x Krark-Clan Stoker
    4x Shock
    4x Desperate Ritual
    4x Lava Spike
    2x Arc-Slogger
    2x Kumano, Master Yamabushi

To begin, ditch the desperate rituals and put in seething songs. I know you accelerate to 3 with the ritual on turn 2, and that you might be inclined to splice them onto the spikes, but a turn 3 slogger is MUCH MUCH more potent.

Next I do believe that the spikes aren't as good as they say it is. I'd rather use the glacial rays here for potential removal there instead. Actually thinking about it, shocks replaced with the rays might be a better choice.

Stokers...I don't know there too, since it can't accelerate as well as teh seething songs. Thinking about this, where are the furnace dragons? I mean, you can play it for 3, sac everything to the atog, and laugh at your opponent as half their field's removed from the game (and atog smacks them).

Wow many things to consider! lol

20 lands you're running the possibility of mana screw eh. I personally think you should go at 21 or even 22 lands since the 4th or 5th drop is still extremely essential to your game. Besides, I haven't seen a single deck running 20 or less that's tourney calibur (only exception is affinity). Aside from that, how's the SB going?

well, i found out that i'm paying way to much for Furnace Dragon, and it's probably because i have to sacrifice them, so my rough draft 3 will exclude furnace dragon, but all in all i'm 6-2-1
