Princess of Waterdeep

This is a traditional-style D&D RPG.The plot is as follows:

During the events of The Hunter's Blades trilogy, a smaller Orcish army attacked the port city of Waterdeep. The force was repelled thanks to the skills of Khelben Arunsun and his wife, Laeral. during the fighting, however, their daughter was kidnapped. The distraught pair contacted the best band of adventurers/mercenaries in the area, the Iron Roses, a band of five to retrieve their daughter. This is who we are. And who knows, if they live through this mission they might be taking more members.

Well, as far as online D&D goes there's less focus on having a massive world-saving quest. More often it's protection work ofr some such. Also, most of your personality is described by your class, race, and Alignment (which I forgot to add). I have a partial list of all three.

Alright, sounds good. Just a few quick questions...what's a blazing hands rapier, and what does it mean to be a ranger?

I give names to most D&D weapons, based on any enchantments they might have. Blazing Hands would probably mean that it increases speed.

Rangers are...Well, they're adventurers through and through. They subsit in the wilds, mainly on what they can hunt. They're also one of the most balanced classes in the pen & paper game, good for beginners. They usually are good fighters and can use a bit of magic.
