Hi, I have stumbled upon a roadblock and I was wondering if anyone could help.

I've been attempting to make a few tweaks to GSC v1.3, just to make my project a little more faithful to the original gameboy incarnations visually to Generation 1.

Currently, when entering battle, the player's sprite appears below the opposing wild Pokémon's sprite.
I'm trying to alter the priority of the sprites so that the player appears above the wild Pokémon's sprite, but for the life of me, I can't find what part of the code I'm supposed to tweak to make it happen.

These are minor tweaks in the grand scheme of things, but I want to try and make it possible.
    I'd appreciate any help

    Thanks in advance!
