Prisoner of Azkaban-Help! PS2

I need some help in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban game for PS2. At the very beginning of the Glacius challenge,what do you do to open the gates? Thanks in advance!

you pick up the big pot thing with all three characters (take one at a time and tell them to "pick up") and then move it over the big switch and drop it.
i think that's right, i just beat that level this afternoon, you have to fight a big guy in that room later, he's a pain in the butt. it's much better than earlier HP games don't you think? anyway, respond if it doesn't work and i'll figure out what i said wrong

Thanks.Now I'm at the part where you have to get the enchanted ball crate using Buckbeak. It's as if there's glass around it. What should I do?

Oops-never mind.. I figured it out and beat the game. (: Sorry I posted too soon.

that's ok, the game's really easy, i beat it in 2 days. but it's still pretty fun
