Private Message Receipts?

    I know what they are, but why can't a access them? When I click on the link to check my receipts it always says,

    Alana, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Why?
     
    As I remember from a similar question many months ago, that happens because read receipts were disabled. Don't clearly remember why.

    Thanks. I'd like to know why but it's really not of any importance so a mod can close this now.
     
    We got rid of them a few months ago. Most members had np real use of the things so it was better just to stop using them. And this can stay open, we're trying not to close threads here anymore.
     
    Ok. It is kind of nice not be asked if you wish to ask for a receipt every time you send a message. Thanks for the help. ^_^
