4th Gen problem trading between real/flash cart

    Heya, I'm trying to trade between a real HG cart and a ROM on an R4. But every time I so much as take a step on the flash cart, it tells me there's a communication error and sends me back to the title screen. I've been trying the Union Room and have no idea what's going wrong, since other people online have no issue trading between real and fake games.
