Problem with Battle royal

Hello, everybody My friend and I have a weird problem with Battle Royal.
Almost every time we try to connect with each other (+2 more peole, we are aware of this)
either she, or I get the message that one of us : " turned down the requrest" and neither I, nor she pressed anything.
Then an error message: " failed to connect with the other trainer" We can do single battles and trade without any problem.
Thank you in advance for help!
P.S: we connect via wireless

we tried both to host Battle Royal and sometimes somebody else refuses the invitastion, so we both get trainer disconnected error. but...weird
