Ok i have a cyndaquil on my sapphire game and i want to trade it to emerald but for some reason it wont work. Now im trying it with a Gameboy advance SP and the gamecube gameboy advance thing i have the cord that connects the sp to the camecube but for some reason i cant get them to connect i even tried a wireless one.i tried to connect ruby and sapphire wont work i did get the 2 wireless fire red and leaf green to work but cindaquills not on either of those. And i tried to trade with leaf green and emerald wouldnt work i am lost please help. thanks.

In both Leaf Green and in Emerald, you must first beat the Elite 4 before you can get pokemon that aren't native to that generation.

I'll assume you haven't beaten the Elite Four in Emerald or LeafGreen?

Dang i was so wanting my cindaquil to travel with me through emerald that sucks.Welp thanks.hmmmmmm.

    You're welcome~ ^^

Just beat the Elite 4 and you're good to go though D:

that sucks though since they're good pokemon to have for the E4

If you beat Elite4 on LG, you can trade it to a Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald that has beaten Elite4 then use the game pack to trade to your current Emerald. I assume that will work.

No it won't. You cannot trade non-Hoenn Pokes from one Emerald to another, unless BOTH Emerald versions have the National Pokedex. The ONLY way to get non-Hoenn Pokes to start in a new Emerald game is to trade them from Pokemon Colosseum. There is a glitch in the game that permits that to happen.

Ummmm, the glitch is that you trade any Pokemon from Colesseum to Emerald, as I explained in my previous post.
