So... I have started hacking some time ago, and I learned a bit about hacking, enough for me to create my own small patch in FireRed, but now I decided to create an serious hack, Im here to present Pokemon Zero Version, the hack I will be working on for the next 3 years. (Yeah, I decided to finish an hack before I finish school)
What is Pokemon Zero Version?
Pokemon Zero Version is an Fire Red hack Im about to work for the next 3 years (or more, this hack is my biggest dream), I plan on making this hack as big as an official game, but keeping the fresh felling of an Pokemon game. I already have most of the game planned and writen in my notebook, and now Im starting to put it into action.
Features
An new Region (I already have all the maps sketched, I just need to create the actual maps)
Post-Game Content (Includes: Legendary Hunt, Extra Locations, Extra Battles and an Final Side-Quest)
New Characters ( I have sketched most characters, Players, Gym Leaders, Evil Team, E4 and Champion, most are provisory design though)
All 386 Pokemon + Extras (All the 386 Pokemon from the original FireRed are obtainable and the evolutions of some that are in Gen 4, and some Pokemon from Gen 5 too)
Difficulty (The Gym Leaders have strategy based Teams, the Evil Team is actually strong and the E4 and Champion are hell!)
Updated Pokemon Stats & Moves (Pokemon Stats updated to X/Y, and around 70 new moves are planned to be insert to the game)
Minor Features (Infinite TMs, Decaptalisation, Run inside Buildings, B/W Repel System, and some other minor patches)
In order to create this hack Im studying hacking and practicing, up to the time I posted this I already can:
Edit Maps
Edit Pokemon
Spriting (I can create custom sprites, I just need someone to polish them, If you want an sample of my sprites just PM me)
Insert Sprites
Insert Pokemon
And I need help with:
Scripting (this is the part I have most trouble, I can still do some basic scripting like adding Fly position and adding text to Signs)
Spriting (I can make the sprites, I just need someone to add the final details)
Mapping (I can do minor Mapping, but I have trouble creating Big maps)
Pokedex Editing (I don't really know how to edit the Pokedex, Im trying to figure out how though)
Composing (I haven't decided if I want to add custom music, but Im thinking about it)

What do you guys think about this idea? Should I continue with it or should I give up? I have plenty of time and patience to learn the parts I have trouble with. (Also, my english ins't very good, Im brazilian)
