Here's an idea that I've got. On future Pokémon cards, you could put a QR code on the card. An example of a QR code is this:
![[PokeCommunity.com] QR Codes on Pokémon Cards [PokeCommunity.com] QR Codes on Pokémon Cards](https://img504.imageshack.us/img504/3050/qrcodeym1.png)
This QR code contains the phrase 'Y7B-F26-0FN', which is the ID code printed at the bottom left of a Pokémon card for Aggron from the EX: Ruby and Sapphire set. You may have seen QR codes on bottles and cans of Pepsi. They are decoded by taking a photograph of the code with a camera, for example with a mobile phone. On the phone, a Java application detects the code and deciphers it. This ties in perfectly with the DSi, which, as you know, has an integrated camera. So you could buy an application from the online store which deciphers the QR code and, for example, displays information about the Pokémon, like with the e-Reader. Or you could go one step further and have it so that it stores the information about the specific Pokémon card and you could then configure decks, look up attacks and damage, etc.
What do you think of this idea?
