In DP, do you use full caps as in the previous games? Or do you use lowercase as well?

Example: In the old games, if your name was capitalized, it looked more uniform with the rest of the game.

So, I'd name my character SIIGARI.

Here, would I do "Siigari" instead?

I name my battle team the Japanese names in proper grammar. For example, my "EMPOLEON" is nicknamed "Enperuto."

Wow, I'm glad to find I'm not the only one. =P

But to answer your question, I've good news for you. In D/P, people's and attack's names are no longer capitalized. The professor is now called "Rowan" instead of "ROWAN", as your rival is, and every trainer in the region.

Do note, however, that Pokémon still maintain their constant capitalization. Nonetheless it's good to see they made a move and decided at least not to make people's names and attack names in caps.

Crap, sorry. OK, my first post's been edited. =P Thanks.

I'm so happy about the severe lack of all-caps in this game. I hated how there would be random capitalized words all over the place and in battles in the other games. It made me feel weird when my name and all of my Pokémon's nicknames were in standard...English word form? XD; I don't even know what to call it, but I've always just had the first letter capitalized and the rest lowercase. Now it pretty much matches the rest of the game's format, for once. :B
