[Scripting Question] Question about dependent move routes?

    Hi again, I had a question about a dependent event - I'd like to set the move route of a dependent, but it doesn't seem to be possible unless your in the map it was made in.

    See, what I'd like to do is have him follow behind the player while he does this without jumping around like so:

    Is it possible or am I better off just trying to hide the dependent during these events?
