Question about Episode 527

    Its the one about Marble, and her Luxray, and when Ash & Co. have to get the Old Charm or something. I just finished watching it, and i noticed: At the end, Marble tells Officer Jenny (who is a girl) : Sir, Thank You.

    Yes, she said: "SIR"

    Now, I need to ask, was that just a dubbing mistake, or do they know something about Officer Jenny (or at least the one from Hearthome; i think that was her) that we dont?
     
    Sir is androgynous I think when it comes to official people and such but if it isn't whatever probably just a dub error.
     
    J is also called "sir" by the people who work for her. Apparently, in the army or something "sir" can be used for males and females. I can't quite remember if it's that, but I have heard people explain that it can mean both male and females.
