Hi, I know hacked pokemon are banned from this site, but if I wanted to do an item giveaway or trade, I was wondering if you could use a hack pokemon that had 0 stats on everything, and was not a rare or shiny or legendary/event pokemon. Like just a caterpie with zero stats. Just to be used as a "filler"/"carrier" pokemon. Would that be allowed?

I know it may seem stupid, like why not just capture a pokemon for that, but I want to mass produce.

While it is a plausible idea, unfortunately I'm going to have to say no. It's hacked, it's hacked, no matter what the purpose for it is.

I'd recommend waiting for Shiny Umbreon's answer on this one, though.

Not only is the pokemon hacked but so is the item you are trading. With this forums disdain for anything remotely close to being hacked I can't see this being ok.

I don't know how the staff thinks about that, but in my opinion it's not okay since it's hacked and that's that. I always have a box full with Bidoofs/Shinx/Magikarps and so on, just in case if I would do an item trade or get a free Pokemon. And if this would be allowed, the man/woman who get's the hacked Pokemon, would have the responsibility to release it. But since we won't get any evidence of him/her actually doing it, that's also a bad idea.

Come on, buy your PokéBalls and catch your Bidoof at Route 201. There's no reason to use hacked Pokémon, even if they're hacked for good. Hacking is hacking. And hacking is a no.

I think that is the key right there. He's hacking a pokemon into the game with an item in hand. So rather than take the item OFF that pokemon give it to a legit one then trade, he wants to create the pokemon with the requested item and trade it... saving time, money, pokemon and pokeballs.

In my opinion, if something is hacked, then it's hacked, and that's that. It doesn't matter if it's shiny, and it doesn't matter if it has bad stats, if it's hacked it's still hacked. And that counts for anything, items or pokemon.
