Question regarding gba romhack text edit

    Hi, all. Been wanting to play a romhack called Hyper Emerald but the postgame is still in Chinese (it's originally a Chinese hack). Menu's, names, etc should all be in English already as the main game HAS been translated, so I am guessing that all that needs translating in the post game is dialogue. HOW would I crack a gba rom open and attempt a simple machine translation of the dialogue? I have tried a few programs, but I see no easy way to just access dialogue. I shouldn't need ANY coding for this, I wouldn't think. I just need a good program that makes the dialogue readily accessible. If I can pull it off, I'll share the 100% translation.
