I'm just wondering, but has the Emerald arc of the manga ended yet? If it has, what ends up happening to the whole petrified group? Do they come back?

From what I know, the emerald series has not ended yet. The recent diamond and pearl manga that are being released are separate from the pokemon adventure manga. As for the emerald series, does anyone know when it will be continued?

The Emerald Series is continued in Pokemon Wonderland, a magazine which has irregular releasing. A new issue is released every time something BIG is happening. If release of Pokemon Ranger 2 is enough to release this freakin' magazine, then Emerald series is going to be continued soon. But if it's not, then I'm afraid we'll have to wait for third DP game, or (if it's going to happen) G/S remake... Something MUST encourage them to release that mag.
Some people think that Volume 29 (which is going to be a conclusion of Emerald Series) is not going to be released before the new Wonderland issue (which can happen tomorrow, in a month, in two months, or even three years...). But it's also possible (and more optimistic) that the writers will ignore Wonderland and the conclusion of Emerald Series will be released straight into tankobon. Who knows...

I don't suggest that GS Remake IS going to be released. It's just an example of a news good enough to release a Wonderland mag and my wishful hoping to see Johto in a faithful remake in good graphics...

I don't suggest that GS Remake IS going to be released. It's just an example of a news good enough to release a Wonderland mag and my wishful hoping to see Johto in a faithful remake in good graphics...

The DP anime for me is not that bad. I mean starting from the Battle Frontier, they did improve the gym battles and competitions at least. Thats what made me get back into that series after 4 whole years. However I left it again when I discovered the manga. I mean they use pokemon in ways the anime never does. Its so good it can compete with shows like naruto. I KNEW the people in the pokemon anime were too nice for their own good.
