    I have seen "Banned" members online, either looking at the index, or Private messaging.

    How is that possible? I thought they were banned.

    (NOTE: This is not a question about how a specific user was banned, it is a question about bans themselves.)
     
    most banned users can still see the index page (home page) they should not be able to PM or view threads.
     
    You were moderating. Deleting VMs is moderating your profile.
