What is the difference between pixel art and freehand

you can do free hand on the computer

Pixel art is like drawing something with the mouse perhaps, on MS paint or Photoshop...Free hand is flat out drawing with a pencil or pen or something. Or if you have an art pad, you can free hand as a start then pixel art out the mistakes.
