I'm not sure if this goes here, but: do normal-types do more damage with frustration and return?

yes, it's called STAB. STAB is Same-Type Attack Bonus. it boosts moves of the same type as the user by 50%.

for instance, a Snorlax that uses Earthquake does a normal 100 base damage.

a Dugtrio, a ground type, that uses Earthquake does a STABed 150 base damage.

it's not just for normal types. it's for ALL types.

So a normal-type will do even MORE damage with frustration and return that other types?

That's 180 MAX BASE DAMAGE!!!
