I checked serebii.net and things, but I'm not entirely sure.

What generation was the move flame wheel introduced in?
I wanna use a physical growlithe in firered. but I'm wondering if it will learn flame wheel or flare blitz???

flame wheel was gen 2, it won't learn flare blitz in fr im confident that is gen 4

IIRC my Cynquil had Flame Wheel back in Gold, so it was introduced in the 2nd generation.
According to another site, it should learn it at level 31 in R/S/E/FR/LG.

ok thanks. do you know of a site or anything that I could find this type of thing,

serebii has different Pokédexs for different versions. Just choose the games dex you want from the left hand column and look down the drop down lists for the Poké you want. Gen 1 and 2 are together but have separate lists for each Poké depending on the moves it learns from Gen 1 to 2.
