quick question about wireless battles

    hey not sure if this the right place to be asking this but if i battle a friend over wireless connection does the winner get exp points?

    Ensure to use the Q&A thread in the main forum in future, but for now I'll answer your question here.

    As has been the case in link battles ever since the glory days of Generation I, your Pokémon will not gain EXP points during link battles. they will stay at the levels you set (Free Battle), bepromoted/relegated to Lv. 50 (in a Lv. 50 Battle) or promoted to Lv. 100 (in a Lv. 100 Battle) for the remainder of the battle.
