It doesn't look like you're a newbie to Photoshop - this is pretty good! The lineart seems nice and steady and I like the shading on the flames. :)

I'm not positive but it looks like you may be using dodge and burn to shade, which I wouldn't recommend. Other than that this is a great start!! Keep up the good work!
