This is what the quote button does. It can be helpful in large thread where ou want to pinpoint who's post you may be talking about.

The quote button takes the post that you clicked the button on and puts it in

tags. You see the line above this one? That's a quoted post. =)

It's useful for when you want to comment to a post, and you want to make sure that people know what you're replying to. @@

The quote button is there to quote people (duh!)
Click it, and you'll quote a person.
When I click on the one in your post, it will look like this:
