I only saw Monotype challenges in this forum, so I figured for a bit of fun I'd make this.


Rules
-You must have the pokemon before you beat Misty.
-You can cheat or hack to get the pokemon you're using.
-You can choose any pokemon.
-You can only have 1 battler and 5 HM slaves.
-Your Challenge ends when beat the Pokemon League.
-You may continue to the post game sidequest.


Competitors
Spinksy: Charmander -> Charizard - Blue.
Mondays Suck: Diglett -> Dugtrio - Red.

I suppose I'll start off...

Charmander -> Charizard - Blue Version.

I've played for a bit already so...

- Beat Gary for the first time.
- Beat Gary for the Second time.
- Evolved Charmander into Charmeleon.
- Went through Viridian Forest.
- Beat Brock with ease.
- Went through Mt. Moon.
- Beat Misty.
- Beat Nugget Bridge, did Bill event etc.
- Went to Vermillion City.
- Caught Spearow and traded for a Farfetch'd.
- Charmeleon evolved into Charizard.
- Beat Gary on the S.S Anne.
- Taught Farfetch'd cut so I could get into the 3rd Gym.
- Beat Lt Surge.

At Rock Tunnel at the moment...

Charizard - Lvl. 42 @ -

- Scratch
- Rage
- Ember
- Slash

Others; Dux (Farfetch'd) - Lvl. 13.

Update 2

- Went through Rock tunnel.
- Beat Gary at the Pokemon Tower.
- Obtained Silph Scope.
- Obtained Pokeflute.
- Beat Erika.
- Caught a Snorlax.
- Obtained Fly.
- Taught Fly to Dux.
- Obtained Bike.
- Travelled down Cycling Road.

Currently at Fushia City, about to vs Koga.

Charizard - Lvl. 55 @ -

Others; Farfetch'd lvl 13, Snorlax lvl 30.

I will use Diglett -> Dugtrio in Red version. I think it should be ok since it's possible to go to Vermilion before beating Misty.

Started with Bulbasaur and did the early stuff. Most was easy, but Nugget Bridge was a pain, I lost 2 times to the rocket at the end because he has a Zubat...
Whatever, after Pewter, I skipped all possible trainers except for the one with the Butterfree above Vermilion I accidentally ran into.
Caught a Diglett and saved.

Update: Beat all the skipped trainers that are after Mt.Moon, cleared the SS.Anne, beat Misty, beat Surge's underlings. Currently not in the mood to do his stupid gym maze.

Even after evolving, this has to be used careful since it still dies after 2-3 attacks.

Cut Slave is not as I planned at first Ivysaur, it's Dux (Lv.17(?)) instead.





Update: Beat Surge. Passed Rock Tunnel. Beat Erika.

100% CH Slash is awesome, it has just 10 less power than STAB Dig or EQ (!)
