    Hey everyone,
Just picked up my Pokemon Blue and Red game again and decided to start over.
Now I do have a question. I know that with some pokemon, it's better to hold off evolution until they learn some moves. Has there been a list posted that states at what level it is best to evolve pokemon? Thanks!

No i dont think there has been...idk i just joined today... sorry :(

That is very usefull but i thought he ment on this site XB

I would just look at the move lists for the Pokemon and it's evolution and decide what attacks you want first and which ones you can wait for. A perfect example of this is Growlithe to Arcanine in G/S/C. At level 50, Growlithe learns Flamethrower, which is also the level that Arcanine learns Extremespeed. Both are good attacks, and they are coincidentally learned at the same level.

But in addition to movesets, would it just be better to let them evolve naturally for stat purposes?

well..I don't evolve my starters...Which is kind of odd. But it's just me. But if I had to evolve my starter Pokémon. The level I'd choose would be 50. It's probably the best. Or if you don't want to wait that long. 40 or 30. But keep in mind, this advice is from a person who's only evolved Piplup out of all the other starters.

Try to evolve Charmander at level 25 and Charmeleon at level 39-42 , it's good to do this ;)

Alright, my squirtle and bulbasaur are about to evolve at 16. Looks like I'll let them ;)

i reccomend not letting your starter evolve till level 30
i also reccomend raising pikachu to level 45 before evolving it

I have Yellow, and it takes a long time to evolve all R/B starters at the same time. :\

    Thanks for the help guys.
One last question. When evolving my eevees, should I just evolve them with a stone immediately? Or train them a few levels? Since Eevee and it's evolutions learn Quick Attack @ level 27, I think it's ok to evolve them immediately right? (Besides Jolteon learns both Thundershock and Quick Attack @ 27.)
