R/S/E Remake Promotion?

this thread mentions the japanese episodes in general, so just incase, I'd probably not read this if you are prone to spoilers. But this is really all speculation.

Okay, this topic has been touched on quite a lot ever since Best Wishes started.
As most of you know, a lot of people are expecting R/S/E remakes around 2012 (due to a two year anniversary of the games) and well, the anime usually take opperunitites to promote the games, so there has been some speculation on what we might see happening.

First of all, we could see something like the Battle Frontier happen, in Hoenn. Although the anime Battle Frontier happened quite a while after the R/G remakes, it's been argued that the writers placed the anime battle frontier in Kanto to promote Fire Red and Leaf Green (they also used the battle frontier to promote emerald also) but yeah. I can only see this happening after the Unova league finnishes though, so if Besh Wishes keep up with the pace we've been seeing so, I could see this sort of thing happening after the Unova league. Though it doesn't exactly have to be a Battle frontier. They could still use the same sort of basis, like taking along old Pokémon, etc..

Now, seeing if Best Wishes does start to slow down and such, I can see something happen along the lines of what they did to promote Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Just a small filler (?) arc, maybe give a cameo to May or Brendan. Dawn as given a Cyndaquil egg in D/P, so I could probably see one of the main cast get a Pokémon native to Hoenn.

Now, the writers could probably think of something completely new, so I'd like to hear some of your specualtion guys. :)

Maybe in a Spin-off? if that's possible in the first place.
If not, all I can think of is recruiting his Hoenn Pokemon at some point and some of them might just evolve like Cyndaquil.
I kinda see it unfair for May to appear twice <_< yeah yeah, it isn't factual, I was just expressing my feeling. But I always wondered......Does a Hoenn remake explain the reason why Dawn headed to Hoenn....? I mean, why specifically? She could just catch up with May in Johto..I just think she might be the promotion to R/S/E or at least part of it. And that way, Dawn can have her cameo like any other girl did :/ not too sure though, there are more than way to sort the promotion out.

I don't see Battle Frontier until post Unova Saga, which I think wouldn be near the end of 2012 if even then. I don't see them going back to Hoenn really either. I could see a reunion with Dawn or May though. I think having Brendan there would be better cool as long as they don't make him look like a loser like Ethan did(cause he looked way more badass in GSC).

My guess is he goes by the Johto/Sinnoh Frontier facilities and challenges those of course. Or something completely different, but I really don't see an extensive RS storyline, maybe a Special, or something like they did with Legend of Thunder.

I have some weird feeling that if they do promote these games in the anime, Iris will end up with a Treecko or a Mudkip. Just like May obtained a Squirtle and Bulbasuar and Dawn getting a Cyndaquil.

Either that or they have a Hoenn festival like the Johto festival in Sinnoh. They could always make a spin off of Dawn's adventures in Hoenn where she travels with someone like Max.
