4th Gen Raiku

Ok so I just passed through Burned tower and Raiku was sitting on road 38 (as seen on the map). I decided to go catch myself a Miltank, so I begin running in the high grass. The second pokémon I see is a goddamn lvl 40 Raiku. He got away before I could do anything and he disappeared from my map, so I was wondering if he's ever gonna be there again or did I lost it forever. I'm keeping my DS on sleep so that I can restore my save if ever I can't see him again. What should I do?? Please help a desperate girl!

AFAIK the roaming Pokémon will always be there, unless you catch 'em.

You sure he isn't in your Pokégear map anymore? D:

He'll reappear in a different area.

You still have a chance at catching Raikou, it'll just be in a different location. As you change location, so does he. So good luck hunting. XD;
