Raising a Slowbro

    Statwise, Slowbro looks pretty buff. I intend to raise one soon, but want confirmation that the set I intend on using is worth using. The relevant information:

    Slowbro (Bold)
    Ev's: 252 hp, 120 defense, 136 special defense
    Moveset: Calm Mind/Thunder Wave/Rest/Surf

    Is this a decent setup, or should I revise it by replacing, say, Calm Mind with Amnesia and giving it more defense ev's? As can probably be deduced, I intend to use Slowbro as a double wall...are Amnesia's benefits negated by the offensive boost given my Calm Mind?

    And should I perhaps opt for Slack Off (this is just another move with the same effect as Recover, right?) over Rest?

    Advice kindly appreciated.
     
    Slack Off always, It takes at most 2 turns instead of 3 and with lefties, it is amazing.

    If you use that set, Use amnesia since you only have Surf for Special attack(not a common Slowbro).
     
    What is the 'Common Slowbro'? I've never run across a Slowbro in a competitive battle, and am curious as to how others set theirs up.
     
    I hate to shamelessly bump posts, but I think I will shamelessly bump this post.

    Does anyone have suggestions for a better Slowbro?
