You had the move set down pretty well for Special Sweeper Dialga. His typing also makes him a good Tank as Steel and Dragon have the most resistances in the game.

What's wrong with Draco Meteor?

a stabbed draco meteor is great for a mixed sweeper, but if you're relying on a solid special sweeper, the consequences of using Draco Meteor will involve the need to switch out.

You could run that on a Choice Specs set, I guess. X.x;
But with an item like Adamant Orb available, why restrict what Dialga can do. With my Dialga, it has a lot of staying power (31 IVs in HP / 26 DEF / 28 SPDEF / 27 SPATK / 19 SPD =( ), you don't really want to be constantly switching it out.

Okay, but what if you have a white herb for Dialga? this immediately restores his status.

BTW, what do choice specs or scarves really do?

Why would Dialga need to have his stats restored when you can increase his attack power?

Choice Band: Raises Atk by 1.5x but limits you to a single move.
Choice Specs: Raises SpAtk by 1.5x but limits you to a single move.
Choice Scarf: Raises Spd by 1.5x but limits you to a single move.
