Alright, so I did some research around and decided to build my first OU team, I'm pretty sure it's not a top OU team but I'm wondering if it will do the job.

If you´re going to have Umbreon, i would suggest my strategy with Snorlax, it never fails when i use my Umbreon with Snorlax:

    Umbreon:

    Confuse Ray (always use first)
    Baton Pass
    Curse
    Faint Attack

Once you use Confuse ray, just keep using Curse, for about 3 times, or until your Umbreon can´t raise it´s stats anymore. Then Baton Pass to Snorlax, and BOOM! a strong Snorlax in battle. Hard to defeat.

NO NO NO NO NO NO!

That is a horrible, terrible, extremely bad set and you should feel bad for even suggesting it!

Don't use Confuse Ray. Confusion is the worst out of all the status effects, it's very unreliable and wears off quickly. In many cases, the opponent will successfully attack without ever hurting themselves in confusion. Also, confusion is easily cured by switching out.

Faint Attack sucks because it's very weak. The only Dark attack Umbreon should use is Payback.

Finally, passing Curse to Snorlax is a bad idea for 2 reasons:

    1) Snorlax can already learn Curse, so it doesn't need Umbreon's help.
    2) Both of them are weak to Fighting. A Baton Passer and a Baton Pass recipient should not have the same weaknesses, otherwise the recipient will get KOed by a supereffective attack when it is switched in.

    Anyways, ignore Ferraligator's entire post.

Why does Jirachi have a Modest Nature? Is it a typo or something? Either way, change it to Jolly. Fire Punch is needed to beat other Steel types.
For Snorlax use Crunch or Fire Punch. Don't use Earthquake because you'll be rendered useless against Gengar/Mismagius/Rotom.
For Dragonite, use Roost since Gengar already has Thunderbolt and it will help you heal off Life Orb damage.

Your current team has a major weakness to Infernape, who KOs half of the team with Fire Blast/Flare Blitz, beats Snorlax and Umbreon with Close Combat, and beats Dragonite with Stone Edge/Hidden Power Ice.

Right now the most useless Pokemon on your team is Umbreon. Mean Look Passing is pretty pointless most of the time because you won't be able to pull it off successfully. Fighting types and Scizor will get in your way and beat you up really badly. Replace Umbreon with Starmie.

    Starmie @Leftovers
    Timid Nature
    Natural Cure
    136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spd

    -Surf
    -Thunderbolt
    -Rapid Spin
    -Recover

Not only will Starmie help you defeat Infernape, it can also Spin away Stealth Rocks so that Dragonite and the rest of your team can switch around more easily.

Thanks for the helpful reply, I'm going to replace my umbreon with Starmie, and no the Modest nature on Jirachi is not a typo, the problem is I only have event Jirachi and it has Modest nature.

Just to bring something up, you might have to watch out for DD Gyarados. Cuz after one DD your team could be in trouble although Starmie could solve that problem. So yea, just keep that in mind.
